PoE Switches

PoE switches serve to simplify infrastructure - to replace individual PoE injectors with a single device. When purchasing a PoE switch, it is necessary to take into account the total PoE budget, ie. performance that the switch can provide for powering connected devices, PoE ports, port speeds (Gigabit, 100Mbit), and standards by which the switch can supply power (passive vs. active). When selecting a switch, it is necessary to know which elements you want to power and find the corresponding switch accordingly. In our offer you will find switches with passive output 24V and 48V or active output 802.3af and 802.3at and their combinations. New to the latest is PoE at a distance of up to 250m (by default it can only be powered by 100m), resulting in a higher voltage of 48V + (802.3af / at) and a degradation of the Ethernet line to 10Mbps. Devices powered in this way are usually cameras that do not expect higher data rates.
