Wi-Fi antennas are more varied and each has its own specific use. The basic three types are omni-directinal, semi-directional and highly-directional antennas. Omnidirectional ones can usually be found on home Wi-Fi routers in different sizes, and therefore with different decibel gains compared to an isotropic antenna (dBi). The sector antennas will find use on the transmitting points of the providers and the directional antennas serve to connect 2 remote points.
